ECO was established in response to the complex challenges facing Somali communities, including climate shocks, displacement, food insecurity, limited access to basic services, and recurring humanitarian crises. Rather than addressing these challenges in isolation, ECO applies an integrated approach that links emergency relief with long-term development.
